Opportunities for Healing

Through the words of Jesus, the Bible brings us the life-giving message of hope that God is able and willing to meet all of our needs, no matter how desperate they may seem. In Luke 4:18-19 Jesus quotes part of the Old Testament saying "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the downtrodden will be freed from their oppressors, and that the time of the Lord's favour has come."

Jesus was aware that the human race was in desperate need of healing with many people lost to Him or living in situations which felt like prisons. They were physically, emotionally and spiritually ill, or crushed as people so that they had lost - or had never really found - their true identity. As Jesus spoke the above words He was declaring that He was the answer. That in Him, and through His love, people could find good news that would bring eternal life. They could receive the healing that would bring restoration, and the freedom to live a fulfilling life, serving Him and in relationship with Him.

2000 years later, the human race needs Jesus as much as in any other generation. The answer is still the same... Jesus. He has asked Christians, as His followers, to carry on the work which He started while He was on the earth; to bring good news to the poor, to heal the broken-hearted and to release the captives.

When people apply for help at an Ellel Ministries centre there are a variety of options that are available.

Healing Retreats

The work that God established at Ellel Grange began with offering Healing Retreats to people in need of help. A Healing Retreat is a special 2-3 day opportunity to receive personal prayer ministry. Healing Retreats are available at all Ellel Centres. There is no charge for a Healing Retreat although donations to cover the costs are always much appreciated.

Restoration Weeks

Restoration Week is a week of opportunity to understand both the causes of damage in people’s lives and how to personally receive God’s restoration. God’s heart is for wholeness and freedom for every part of our being, in order that we might fulfill the destiny He has prepared for us.
The week will start a welcome and introduction to Restoration Week, followed by five days of teaching to give understanding to the truth about God’s restoration for our lives. The last two days give opportunity to appropriate those truths through personal prayer ministry.

Personal Ministry Appointments

For some people, following a Healing Retreat, additional Personal Ministry Appointments for further inner healing may be considered necessary. The arrangement of these can only be done on the recommendation of members of the Ministry Team who prayed with an individual on their Healing Retreat.

To register, you can access a printable version of the application by clicking here, or you can phone or email the Ellel Canada West office to have one sent to you.

As a registered charity and a mission organization we depend totally on God to meet the financial needs of the work through His people. While we never charge for personal ministry we invite those who share in the vision of the Ministry and are receiving personal benefit to prayerfully consider making a financial donation to help underwrite the cost of the work.

All donations are tax deductible. You can mail in a cheque or phone the office with a Visa or Master Card Number.

Short Courses and Ministry Courses

The teaching on our short courses helps individuals to better understand and identify their healing needs. Our courses invariably include a ministry time, giving delegates an opportunity for people to respond to the teaching.

Some courses are specifically designed as Ministry Courses and provide teaching and ministry on individual topics such as healing and deliverance or for a particular group of people. The mix of teaching and ministry make these courses excellent opportunities to both receive help and to learn how to help others.
