Restoration Weeks

 

From the very beginning of Ellel Ministries, the main focus has been to bring God’s healing and restoration to hurting people.

Restoration Week is a week of opportunity to understand both the causes of damage in people’s lives and how to personally receive God’s restoration. God’s heart is for wholeness and freedom for every part of our being, in order that we might fulfill the destiny He has prepared for us.

The week typically begins on a Sunday evening with a welcome and introduction to Restoration Week, followed by a week of teaching to give understanding to the truth about God’s restoration for our lives. The week will also include times of personal reflection and prayer ministry throughout to give opportunity to appropriate those truths on an individual level.

Rebuild

Damaged buildings do not function as the builder intended; restoration, sometimes even down to the foundations, can bring an extraordinary new lease of life to the whole structure. When we take time to understand the spiritual principles that underlie the condition of our lives, we give God the opportunity to show us more clearly the particular ways in which we have become damaged and to demonstrate His amazing ways of bringing restoration to spirit, soul and body.

Revive

Gardeners know that weeds grow along with the desirable plants in our gardens. If we allow the weeds to remain, the plants are never able to produce in the way we desire. There is nothing wrong with the plants. The problem lies with us allowing the weeds to take over. God wants us to have full, rich, productive lives that reflect our unique design. To do this we must deal with our spiritual weeds.

Typically these weeds come in three ways. Firstly, there are weeds that are a consequence of our own sin. Secondly, there are things that people have done to us or things that have happened to us due to the circumstances of life. And finally, there are things we have inherited.

A well weeded garden or a well weeded inner life will always be more fruitful than one that is left to run wild. Restoration Week will weed the garden of your inner life and give you the skills and encouragement to maintain that garden, flourishing with joy and productivity in whole new ways.
